We currently broadcast 24/7 Sky 673, Freesat 817, & Freeview 85 as well as streaming Live in HD though IPTV technology online at www.thecraftstore.com. Broadcasting live for 15 hours a day, we offer a huge variety of shows and products. Our website is fully transactional and our in-house call centre with Sales and Customer services is open from 6am to 11pm.

Launched in August 2015 we now have a 140 strong team across all departments. We outsource very little as we pride our self in Hochanda staff providing Hochanda services to the Hochanda consumer. This we feel is the best way to see the passion throughout and ensure it reaches the end user. We are very proud of the team we have who have come from all corners of the Direct Response, Shopping TV, and Retail industry. Hochanda allows our team to really spread their wings and stretch their imaginations to bring the best out of their skills and experience.

Buying Assistant

Description:

If you are passionate about starting a career in buying within a fast-paced innovative environment, this is the perfect role for you. We are seeking well motivated candidates with excellent administration skills to be able to communicate at all levels.

You will need to be IT literate a strong team player and be proactive in managing your own time effectively.

Main duties include:

  • Provide accurate, timely and thorough buyer and supplier support across the whole spectrum of product administration.
  • Use numeracy (Excel) and text (Word) PC skills to work with your buyer and supplier to input product data accurately, check and cross-check data supplied in numerous and different formats and use your initiative to deliver and pool the information on offer to enable the best presentation of data in Hochanda’s set systems.
  • Use in-house reporting and get to learn in-depth knowledge of both internal processes and external supply partner’s processes to maximise your workload time efficiencies.
  • Research and learn product information to check and monitor product information documents supplied via our supply partners and where needed improve and edit to be in line with Hochanda’s demanding levels of detail.
  • Ensure all data entry and product descriptions are accurate, spelled correctly, presented in the correct format and all numerical data is correct.
  • Pro-activity identifies smarter processes and procedures to improve efficiency for Hochanda and your role within the buying department.
  • As requested, attend supplier meetings, take the minutes and follow up and resolve any issues as directed by the Buyer and Supplier.
  • Accurately process product set up – start to finish including taking full responsibility to deliver all the required information and data input.
  • Ensure all product samples/photography are requested and followed up to ensure sample/imagery are availability in a timely manner.
  • Carry out all other ad hoc duties as required.

Inbound Sales & Customer Services Adviser

Description: We are recruiting for our busy contact centre, based in Oundle near Peterborough. You will be working as part of our inbound contact centre team taking a mix of sales calls and customer service calls.

Working five-days out of seven, 14:00 – 22:00, including weekends.

Main duties include:

  • To place customer orders and strive to resolve all customer enquiries at first point of contact, primarily by telephone but also by correspondence and email.
  • Handle any customer service queries to satisfaction.
  • Identify and maximize sales opportunities through cross selling and up selling through a sale by service approach.
  • Maintain knowledge on; products, procedures, and policies so a consistent high level of service can be provided to customers across all shifts.
  • Identify, resolve, and record customer complaints.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve individual and department KPI’s and SLA's.
  • Undertake customer surveys as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous call centre experience with a sales background desirable, yet not essential.

Stock Controller

Location: Hochanda Global Limited, Nene House, Nene Valley Business Park, Oundle, PE8 4HN

Position Type: Full time

Description:

As the Stock Controller you will report into the Head of Buying however you will also need to work very closely with the Head of Operations who oversees the Contact Centre, Warehouse and all other logistics.

Main duties include:

  • Expediting and tracking all incoming orders making sure they arrive correctly and on time.
  • Helping suppliers with import to find the most efficient and economical solution.
  • Regular communicating with suppliers and couriers.
  • Working with Finance to arrange Duty, VAT and Other Import charges to avoid delivery delays.
  • Reporting and tracking of supplier performance identifying and improving poor performers.
  • Booking large incoming deliveries in with the warehouse.
  • Be the main contact for all incoming couriers and freight forwarders.
  • Review, amend and maintain internal tracking procedure for all deliveries and suppliers.
  • All delivery related communications between buying, the warehouse and customer service.
  • Management of Direct Despatch Suppliers making sure all orders are sent out in a timely manner and any issues or delays are identified early so customers can be contacted.
  • Warehouse stock management – identifying old, or slow-moving goods and suggesting strategy to clear.
  • Direct Despatch stock management – liaising with suppliers and buyers to keep as many items in stock as possible whilst removing goods no longer available.
  • Price checking to make sure online offers are competitive.
  • Setting up, ordering and managing online only products.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of stock control and international shipping procedures and documentation.

Technical Operative

Description:

In this role, you will be using your technical operations skills in a studio and live playout environment to support the production and delivery of broadcast content for Hochanda.

This role is on a seven-day fortnight shift pattern.

Main duties include:

  • Rig and derig technical equipment in a safe manner as directed to support production requirements.
  • Prepare the studio for use.
  • Sound mixing and assisting the presenters and guests with their microphones.
  • Scheduling shows on automated playout software to ensure continuity of 24/7 broadcasting
  • Operate technical equipment in the production of live and occasional pre-recorded studio content as required.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
  • First line technical support to studio and gallery
  • Report/escalate technical issues in a timely manner so that problems are addressed quickly and with minimal impact on the output.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with other teams to ensure effective delivery of requests for broadcast.
  • Attend production meetings when requested.
  • Shoot and edit VT when requested.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety policies and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Any additional duties as requested.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in a technical operations role.

Gallery Producer

We are looking for a talented Gallery Producer to join our enthusiastic team to plan, deliver editorial content and deliver hourly live shows to maximise sales potential for our live output.

This role is on a seven-day fortnight shift pattern.

Main duties include:

  • Maximize sales by cross selling upsell items and monitoring live sales data, adjusting the live show format where necessary to capitalize on potential sales and increased ‘basket’ spend.
  • Has a full understanding of the full production process and limitations, reacting to and problem solving
  • Attends forward planning meetings, preps with buyers to ensure accurate product knowledge is ascertained.
  • Develops Creative formats, builds guest relationships and confidence to ensure educational and successful demonstrations are delivered and extra studio requirements are acknowledged.
  • Identify all products USP’s and construct a clear show format to be delivered to the TV team during the pre-production meeting.
  • Briefs presenters to ensure successful show format and accurate product knowledge is achieved.
  • Supports Presenters throughout shows whilst adopting the role of the viewer ensuring all product information is delivered accurately and concisely. Consistently promoting and managing audience interaction.
  • Exercises creative flair to ensure that channel branding, identity and motto is retained.
  • Works under own initiative and juggles multiple tasks in order to prioritise daily responsibilities.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience of working within a Production role within shopping television.
  • A good team player is essential for this role.

Warehouse & Returns Team Leader

Location: Hochanda Global Limited, Nene House, Nene Valley Business Park, Oundle, PE8 4HN

Description:

Day to day responsibility for the warehouse operation working closely with couriers, suppliers and other Hochanda teams to ensure our customer orders and returns are processed, collected and delivered inside the delivery promises made to our customers. Provide timely feedback and escalate problems, issues or concerns that can’t be resolved. This is a hands-on role with the team lead providing proactive direction for the warehouse team.

Main duties include:

  • Leads the warehouse team daily to execute the daily / weekly plan.
  • Trains, coaches, develops, leads and motivates the warehouse team day to day. Maintains concise training records for the team.
  • Conducts monthly team 1:1’s with the team to provide feedback and training requirements that feed into the annual appraisals.
  • Always ensure the team adhere to health and safety procedures, Manual handling equipment is checked daily before use and records retained for filing.
  • Ensure that all warehouse and equipment documentation and procedures are followed, completed and adhered too.
  • Ensure that customer orders and returns are packaged correctly so as our customers and suppliers receive their items in good condition.
  • Ensure that all Supplier Held Stock and Warehouse Held Stock despatches are completed within the 2 working day SLA.
  • Carry out ad-hoc, monthly and annual stock checks ensuring our stock holding is always accurate.
  • Carry out a weekly consumable inventory checks to prevent stocks depleting, raise purchase orders for stock replenishments in a timely manner.
  • Provide clear instructions, updates and handovers to ensure the daily / weekly plan can be achieved.
  • Work closely with the operations manager, support teams and call centre to provide the ultimate customer experience.
  • Identify areas of improvement of our processes, systems and working conditions.
  • Manage the warehouse email queries inbox to ensure items are managed and monitored in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that returns are processed daily with all documentation completed and actions taken, to complete the monthly returns and ensure all supplier returns are labelled and processed within the time constraints.
  • Support recruitment and retention of the warehouse team.
  • Maintain and improve the working environment ensuring housekeeping standards and health and safety standards are set and maintained.

Desired Skills:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety procedures and policies.
  • Basic supervisory skills or previous management experience
  • Organised, to be able to plan workload for self and others
  • Basic computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft office and Hochanda stock management systems an advantage.
